In a virtual gallery you can show any type of content.

  • 2D images.

  • 3D sculptures and installations.

  • Videos, Animations and Films.

  • Audio recordings and audio guides.

Each work may contain information about the piece and the artist. It can also be implemented with an introductory audio and can be connected to a specific web page of an online store, or to a social profile such as facebook or instagram.

2D artwork, photography and paintings.

Next to the artwork, information about the work and the artist will be displayed on a pedestal. There will also be the possibility to implement an audio description or commentary by the artist himself.  In addition, a link can lead to a web page, an online store or a social network. Any type of information can be implemented such as the date and price of the work. Other types of implementations can be made to the graphics, for example a particular frame or border. Any kind of 2D image can be displayed in the virtual gallery wall.

Video and Multimedia in one or more screens in the virtual gallery.

The videos  installations can be played by the user or run in a loop. Spatial audio allows you to perceive sound only when you are close to the video itself, and thanks to this system, multiple videos will be able to coexist in the same environment without overlapping each other.

In addition to 2D videos, it will be possible to play 360 videos. These will be played inside a sphere where it will be possible to enter, for an immersive vision. This kind of experience  it is recommended with a  3D viewer, but can also be used via PC/Mac

Audio Guides and Web Integrations.

With the audio recordings, it is possible to provide a description of the works, but also as a narration of the gallery itself. An example could be, when, at the entrance of a gallery, an audio will guide us to use the movement controls. The audio guides can be played by the user when he is in front of a work. The artist could, with a recording, introduce his work. A good audio guide can make the gallery more interesting and immersive.

Clicking on a web link will open a new page in the Browser, where visitors will have access to more information  or get in touch with someone. The links could also be to an online store. This means that users may have direct access to purchase the work.

Sculptures and 3D installations

3D sculptures and installations can be incorporated into virtual galleries. The most realistic option is to use a 3D model, which is a faithful representation of an object. This is the most expensive option but also the most realistic. If you already own a 3D model, it can easily be added to the gallery at no extra cost.

Another option could be a looping video, which simulates a full circle around the sculpture.

The cheapest solution is to install a photo of the sculpture in the gallery. With this last option you will also have the possibility of using an animated gif which will simulate, with the use of 4 or more photographic shots taken in sequence, the movement around it.
